It's always interesting to me to hear someone's voice for the first time who've you've had interaction with. I guess kind of in the same way first seeing someone with no idea what they look...trying to match the voice with the preconceived perception of what the voice might be.
Of course I expected the accent, but beside that the voice is different than I thought based on how my mind developed all of the words I've read and the few photos I've seen.
More importantly - I am glad that you are writing and thanks for the audio post.
The Brazilian Soccer comment made me laugh only because my wife is from Brazil...not sure why that made it funny, it just did.
It's good to hear ya voice again, kiddo, even though, with all things considered, I might never be in your presence again to hear it one on one.
